What are the benefits of Hot Tapping?

By doing live tappings into piping systems it takes away the need to isolate and drain down services and refill.  This greatly reduces time and risk in providing new connection points and means that the system can stay in service at all times, reducing the impact on residents or clients.

There is no wastage of water so HVAC systems do not need to be chemically dosed after branches are tapped, and no need to bleed air out of the system as it remains full and circulaing at all times.

Gas systems can remain in operation at all times so there is no need to purge lines and re commission after connection is done.
